Woodsman is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of slow drum style chippers. With production units available from 80 to 800 HP, you can be sure that we can handle your chipping needs. Whether you are a small arborist, land developer, utility contractor, rental store, or large-scale chipping operation we have you covered. Woodsman chippers offer many innovations such as our rear pivoting feed wheel and full pocket knife design. Our engineering places a strong emphasis on the design and manufacturing of our product so that your operation can be more productive and profitable. If you have spent any time around a Woodsman, you will also have noticed that Woodsman chippers have fewer moving parts than their competitors. We pride ourselves on our implementation of important features, a few of which include our clean design, use of gearboxes and plug-and-play electronics.

Today the Woodsman product line is divided into two main categories: Our biomass chippers which include the Models 332, 334, and 337. An additional unit, the Woodsman Model 320, is currently in production and being sold overseas and we are planning to introduce the Model 320 to the North American market during summer of 2008. Our second line is our hand-fed chipper line which consists of the Models 730, 750, 770 and 790.

Woodsman’s research and development department has been hard at work and we have plans to introduce several additional new products to the market in the coming months.
